Because Alinghi lost the America’s Cup (and we have to focus on the Winter Olympics anyway), here something much cooler: a hydrofoil sailing boat. World record vehicle Hydroptère, to be precise – fastest sailing boat over 500 meters and one nautical mile. Reaches speeds in excess of 50 knots (almost 100 km/h or 62 mph).
